Film Synopsis

 

 

‘Present Past Tomorrow’ film tries to perceive a transformation process

of a stressed individual

in the midst of modern life.

As flashes of visual heartbeats the film penetrates psychological crisis,

allowing the viewer to share a healing journey through inner psyche states.

 

‘Present Past Tomorrow’ is a short film of 22 minutes,

yet it offers a sharp observation into an inner emotional path.

 

Film location was an abandoned Soviet hospital nearby Berlin, Germany,

that was chosen with the aim to radiate and support visualizing

subtle humane friction and awareness emotional phases. 

 

 

 

The Project

 

Main script ideas were established by mid 2009

and the film was set to feature a collaboration with the actor Enrico Falcinelli.

 

The main film concept was to zoom into a stressful and frictioned

state of an individual human being in the big modern city,

while perceiving inner psyche states.

 

Preliminary photography sessions were made during 2009

in the intention to be later incorporated into the film work.

 

After almost a full year of efforts to find the right locations,

eventually in April 2010 a location was finally found:

an old abandoned Soviet hospital nearby Berlin.

 

Video shooting started almost immediately and was completed by May 2010.

Film was completed in January 2011.
